Rage and madness can sometimes come from the Clan of the stars as we all know is StarClan. When an evil warrior from the four Clans dies and that cat is doing something which is claimed to be good, the warrior has to go to the Gathering and face their friends, their enemies, and the leader of the stars, Star. And if the warrior is good, they go to StarClan and forget about what has happened to them before. But is the warrior is bad, they shall be banished to the Dark Forest with regrets and lies. That happened to many cats throughout Erin Hunter's series. But lets not talk about her. It's the story we must talk about. So forget about the author and lets deal with the cats. Okay?
Now... This story happened many moons after the greatest legendary leader of ThunderClan, Firestar, died in the largest battle of the Dark Forest and finally reunited with his beloved she-cat, Spottedleaf, who died when he was just an apprentice...
There were cats growling, snarling, and wanting to kill a traitor who is about to be punished in the gathering of StarClan. Unlike the other times, it was much worse. Many said that this cat should be killed into stardust, and some say he should go to the Dark Forest and rot in his shell. That caused more chaos and stars shining like if it's a deadly sign.
There, Firestar and Spottedleaf were resting on the front row during the gathering. They didn't care about the traitor. They are simply happy that they had finally found each other again. They were talking about other things... How they miss the old forest, the lake shining, and the Moonstone.
"I just wish that I have ten lives," Firestar meowed, while talking to the tortoiseshell cat next to him, " That way, I be alive during that battle of the Dark Forest. Then I should have two lives left after that. But I can't. Cause every cat has nine lives. That's what ever warrior know. Right?"
"Of course, my Fire. In fact, everyone knows that..."
"That I was afraid you said."
"Sh... It's starting..."
He and Spottedleaf stopped talking because they have found out that whole gathering turned silent as the leader of StarClan came. The leader was a silver she-cat, almost a look alike of Cinderheart and Millie, but is not a medicine cat or kittypet. Her eyes were shining white, completely, as if the StarClan ancestors still remain in her heart. But what made her more beautiful was a white wavy mane on her head. It almost made her look like a legendary creature of the heavens before destroyed. The tip of her tail was a huge gray fire.
"Cats of StarClan," The silver cat spoke in her loud voice, "Before we could start our meeting dealing with Ursakane, I have an important announcement to make!"
Some warriors were disappointed, while the rest were quiet. They need to know what is she about to talk about.
"As all of you have noticed, the Dark Forest has been destroyed and is no longer existing as we have witness! We tried to unite with the Tribe nearby, but some say they don't have a leader. But then we have met some four-egged monsters that says that they can do their very best to send them into their place. They were called "The Equestrian Black Skies".
"They say that they used bad people as children," Star continued, "As to teach them about new things used in life. For now on, the Equestrian Black Skies has mad peace with us and is the new Dark Forest!"
Many cats meowed and roared in joy and excitement. They were glad to replace the old Place of No Stars to a new one! Now they won't have to worry about Tigerstar, now that he is stardust. Soon, the cheering stopped and whole Gathering went silent again. They have to think about Ursakane and nothing else.
"Now," Star spoke again, "Thunderstar! Release the gray red tom!"
Soon, rage and madness build up again. This time, The old four ThunderClan leaders used their elements to bring the cage up, which had a gray-red tom, just as the StarClan leader requested. The tom was small yet scared, not to mention the fear in his eyes. He's trying to find a way to escape, yet he knows he's already dead.... And no way out. Soon, the rage silenced, and the traitor... Ursakane... gave up his plan. And hanged his head as a goodbye.
"Ursakane of FeatherClan!" Star spoke in a loud voice, scaring the red tom and making him look at her, "You have been punished for the attempting murder of the SnowClan leader and your friend, Triplize! And now you face a new consequence! Any last words?"
"W-Well..."
"SPEAK BEFORE YOU FALL!"
Firestar looked at Ursakane, feeling perplexed. He has not heard of SnowClan or FeatherClan. Yet he thinks they are new Clans awakening by kittypets who became warriors early in one of the four Clans and left to make their own. But then he forgot about it and kept on finding out what will happen to the cat who almost was a step close to killing his friend and leader, not daring to look at his cold blue eyes that fear him.
"I didn't mean it!" Ursakane spoke before the warriors could scream in outrage, "I was about to find out what happens when a warrior refuses to join StarClan or the Dark Forest! I had a dream that actually happened when the fire alone came to StarClan!"
Many cats gasped in horror! Who was the fire alone? Was it Firestar? Was it Flametail? Who was the cat who dared to refuse to join StarClan? That was StarClan's horrifying thought! Firestar wouldn't refuse to join. Will he? Because he had been a good warrior from ThunderClan to now. And is remembered for saving the Clans many countless times. Not to mention how he lead the way during the Dark Forest battle. He risked his life just to kill the former ShadowClan leader, Tigerstar, and bring the Clans to victory. How could he ever refuse to join StarClan?
"It's t-true! I saw it with my blue eyes! I swear! Listen! There were two cats. One was a tortoiseshell, and the oth-"
"Ursakane, you FOX DUNG!" said a black and orange-striped cat, "What did you mean by this dream? Who was in the scene?!"
Ursakane tried to speak, but in order to do that, he has to make the loudness stop. In his Clan, every warrior and kit knew that he can almost become deaf when he hears a loud sound. But if the sound is far away, he will not lose his hearing. And right in this Gathering there is a lot of madness coming on. So, he held up his breath as quick as he could... Then soon... It happened...
"FIRESTAR REFUSED TO JOIN STARCLAN BECAUSE HE WANTS TO SEE HIS CLAN AGAIN!"
And all of the warriors, all of them with shocked faces, slowly turned at Firestar, the one behind Ursakane's mess. How could he do this to StarClan? After all that he's done, he joined StarClan... For nothing! And there, he wanted to come back to his Clan were he once felt like he belonged! That was something new they hadn't learn... He is a traitor! After all he did, all he wants is to live forever! But they are not going to let this happen! They must banish him once and for all.
"Get him!"
"He's going to kill us all!"
"Stop that cat!"
Firestar widen his eyes in fear and started running. He knew that his banishment was going to happen. How did the gay-red tom learn about his declining to join StarClan? How did he learn about his death? This wasn't suppose to happen. Ever.
He tried to run as fast as he could to get out of the Gathering. He did, but he was attacked to quick by many StarClan warriors. They clawed him on the legs side by side. Then they slicked and chipped off the parts of his ear. They almost did the tail, but it's very grooss to eat a tail out of a cat. Captured and trying to move, Firestar was grabbed on the hind legs by two former leaders he didn't know that they were also from ThunderClan. Their faces were serious at this moment... Now that they have learned all about his secret, he must now go face to face with something Star did not talk about... The Black Pool.
The silver she-cat, outraged by the madness caused the ginger tom, came out from the pride rock to look at Firestar, who was angry and scared at that same time because of his green eyes. She was almost sorry for him because he had been in the Clans for a long time. And this is his real death that is going to come to life. Then she looked at the stars that started to fade away. The ancestors are telling her to not let Firestar get away with this. There is no telling whether he might soon send more good warriors to the Equestrian Black Skies. And it must end now!
"As leader of StarClan," Star spoke at the final moment, "I shall now declare Ursakane to be innocent! And Firestar, you shall be remembered no more as you must be banished not into the Equestrian Black Skies, but a dimension I did not tell you!"
Firestar wasn't listening to her, because he was looking at Spottedleaf, who was in complete tears. None of this should happen! He shouldn't have declined to join StarClan and stay with the warriors forever. But it's too late. He cannot change time. He doesn't have the power to do it. And it's his fault he is going to suffer the same way Bluestar and Tigerstar did. His life is now messed up by something that wasn't meant to happen. He hanged his head in tears as he dared not to look at his beloved mate again.
"Goodbye and Farewell, Firestar!" Star spoke once more in an angry and strong voice, "You will now watch yourself die into blood as you rot!"
Hearing her last goodbye to the traitor, the two warriors spun him around and let him free, watching him fall into the Black Pool. And at the final moment, all the StarClan warriors started to look at the pool, slowly taking over the orange cats body. Then they turned away back into their dens to rest. Everyone was glad that he will no longer cause anymore chaos. He deserved the punishment now that he has it. And they'll be glad to forget about him and move on with life in StarClan.
All except Spottedleaf, who was mourning as they left the crowd. Still in tears, she was calling her mate's name...
But in the Black Pool, Firestar cannot hear her... He was spilling blood out of his mouth and eyes... Which slowly made his orange fur run red.
